hey I do that too, it is not ghetto, but I don't hook up seatbelt like that to scratch my top, and more importantly, I ONLY do it on street around town to safeway sunday drive only. And I DONOT street racing or doing something crazy with top in the back seats like that, and not on freeway. it's just convience, by the time you put tops in the bag, I am already out of the driveway on the street, now do you want to take ten minute everytime you go out there in order to get milk and get some fresh air and sun the same time? The only chance the t top will flop if one doing some extremely hard braking after very hard accerlation, Or some crazy corning(in sport car like ours bodyroll is already minmum compare to other cars)
